Baja California Chorus Frog

Hyliola hypochondriaca
(Hallowell, 1854)
San Diego Co., California. March 31, 2012.

I found this frog on a dry slope in the Laguna Mountains, at least a half-mile from the nearest water source. Not the first chorus frog I’ve found far from water.  Formerly Pseudacris hypochondriaca; removed from the synonymy of Pseudacris by Duellman, Marion, and Hedges, 2016, Zootaxa, 4104: 10
