Baja California Mountain Kingsnake

Lampropeltis zonata ‘agalma’
(Lockington, 1835)
Ensenada, Mexico. April 2, 2012.

This specimen was one of three agalma found in the Sierra Juarez mountains.  Along with other zonata subspecies, agalma has been dropped, but I still recognize it as a form disjunct from other mountain kings.
