Fringe-lipped Treefrog

This aptly named treefrog was the first frog I saw in Peru, pictured as found, perched over a wet area just off the trail. I tracked it by its low, peeping call. Despite repeated searches on subsequent expeditions, this species piqued my interest, but I didn’t see another garbei until 2018.
