Boana geographica
(Spix, 1824)
Madre Selva field station, Depto Loreto, Peru. January 15, 2011

B. geographica remains at the top of my ‘favorite frogs’ list. These photogenic frogs are large and richly colored, and I have found them from the forest floor to over ninety feet up in the canopy. Formerly in Hypsiboas.

My Flickr album for this species is here.
