Midland Chorus Frog

Pseudacris triseriata
(Wied-Neuwied, 1838)
Montgomery Co., Indiana. May 11, 2010.

I stopped for gas in Crawfordsville, and could hear frog calls coming from somewhere behind the station (this was not the first, nor the last time that this has happened). I found a small pond back there, with gray treefrogs (Dryophytes chrysoscelis) and Pseudacris triseriata calling.
