Peninsular Leaf-Toed Gecko

Phyllodactylus xanti xanti
Cope, 1863
Baja Sur, Mexico. August 31, 2013.

This lizard was found on a boulder during a night hike in the foothills of the Laguna Madre near the southern tip of Baja.  These geckos have delicate skin, which tears easily.
