Sharp-nosed Jungle Frog

Leptodactylus bolivianus
Boulenger, 1898
Santa Cruz field station, Depto Loreto, Peru. June 18, 2014.

So much rain had fallen that the ground couldn’t absorb any more, and so the trail we were walking was a squishy, sticky mess. This frog was found in a water-filled footprint on the trail.
