Canyon Treefrog

Dryophytes arenicolor
Cope, 1866
Davis Mts., Jeff Davis Co., Texas, May 22, 1997.

While searching for rattlesnakes among rock outcrops, it was a nice surprise to find an arenicolor clinging to a bit of mossy rock. The photos are lost but the top frog is from very close by, observed in 2016. The bottom photo are canyon treefrogs from SW Colorado in 2010. Removed from the synonymy of Hyla by: Duellman, Marion, and Hedges, 2016, Zootaxa, 4104: 10
