Carpenter Frog

Lithobates virgatipes
(Cope, 1891)
Craven Co., North Carolina. September 20, 2013.

One problem with herping in a large group is that it’s tough to keep track of what’s been found. I managed two quick and terrible voucher shots of this frog, got distracted by something else, and in the meantime the frog was turned loose. Added to the ‘need better photos’ list.
