Rainbow Boa

Epicrates cenchria
(LINNAEUS, 1758)
Madre Selva Field Station, Depto Loreto, Peru. January 11, 2011.

My first rainbow boa was a neonate, and during the same trip I got to see several adults as well. I can usually counting on seeing at least one or two of these beautiful boas on every trip; they are active at night, but I have found a number of them on the crawl during the morning hours as well.

My Flickr album for this species is here.
