Paleosuchus trigonatus
(Schneider, 1801)
Madre Selva field station, Depto Loreto, Peru. January 11, 2011.
Paleosuchus trigonatus favors shaded streams and tributaries, and this specimen came from a small creek near the Madre Selva field station on the Rio Orosa. My second trigonatus was encountered on the Nauta road a few miles outside of Iquitos.
