Spotted Lime Treefrog

Sphaenorhynchus dorisae
(Goin, 1957)
Madre Selva field station, Depto Loreto, Peru. January 11, 2011.

One night we took the skiff down the Rio Orosa to a small, slow-moving creek in search of the creatures that lived in the hyacinth and water lettuce. We found a number of these small frogs clinging to leaves above the water.

My Flickr album for this species is here.
