Marbled Treefrog

Dendropsophus marmoratus
(Laurenti, 1768)
Madre Selva field station, Depto Loreto, Peru. January 12, 2011.

Many of these frogs look like a splat of bird poop, or a bump on the bark of a tree, or both in some cases.  They are about the same size as the gray treefrogs (Hyla versicolor and H. chrysoscelis) around my home back in the United States.

My Flickr album for this species is here.
